My name is Ferran Mestre and I’m an Art Director and Creative Director from Barcelona. I’ve been working in the creative industry for over 15 years between Barcelona and Dubai.
My career started as a multimedia designer in a photography & film studio. Later on, I started my own studio, which allowed me to manage my own projects and ideas. It gave me the opportunity to explore the artistic disciplines that I was really interested in developing, such as communication, photography, animation and film direction.
For the past 12 years, I have worked in creative teams for various advertising agencies, such as TBWA, After, and DoubleYou in Barcelona, as well as Cheil and Freedom.Agency in Dubai, holding positions as Art Director, Associate Creative Director, and Creative Director.
I love design, film, good ideas and the interplay of them all. Some people say I’m multi-disciplinary, but I would rather say I know a little bit about a lot of things. I really like challenges, big or small, and solving them through strategic thinking and creative solutions.
Music is a huge interest of mine. I've played in bands for many years, however, my music ambitions nowadays only consist of providing catchy jingles for advertising commercials. When not working, I try to make my own furniture and cook dishes that not everyone likes.
